Why T.O.U.G.H Baseball?

Here at TOUGH Baseball, our mission is simple - to use an athletic training program to help teach and mentor the children of the community. We believe through sports the children can develop a strong work ethic that will help propel them in all aspects of their lives. We are here to teach the kids the game we all love and to have them be apart of a structured program. How we believe that gets done is with repetition, the proper instruction and hard work. We believe that  is the key to development, skill enhancement, and confidence.  With our Instructional Sessions, lessons and free clinics all players will receive tons of hitting, fielding and pitching reps right along side our coaching staff. This will establish and solidify necessary fundamentals needed for each player to excel at  higher level baseball. With our monthly programs the sessions are limited to 10 players per time slot per day. In these sessions players are working with Professional coaches in every aspect of the game. So when players are getting their ground balls, fly balls, hitting reps, and pitching reps they are right alongside of a professional instructor.    Our programs will have days that will focus on hitting, and the other days will focus on pitching and fielding. Players choose their practice time for each day of the week.

Who Benefits?

 – Travel ball players
With tournaments on the weekend, and occasional team practices - this is perfect for the competitive player who wants to gain an edge and win or keep that starting position! This can be a great supplement to their travel ball experience.
    – Beginners and experienced players
This program is perfect for all players who have a desire to advance their skills and mechanics regardless of their current skill level. Since practices will not revolve around "team concepts", each player will benefit individually.  Whether it’s an advanced player who is seeking extra reps with professional coaches or a 10 year-old who needs a great deal of help - each player receives “targeted” instruction based on their needs.
    – Little League and Cal Ripken players
With the flexibility of this program, players are able to work around their Rec ball schedule to help them take their skills to the next level. It will also be helpful for Rec players who have aspirations of participating on a Travel Ball team in the future. We’ll get you prepared for that next level so you have a GREAT experience!
     --Multi-sport athletes
Players who participate in football or basketball usually don't have the time to commit to two sports in the fall. With this program, players can take advantage of its flexibility to continue to stay in shape  and maintain “baseball readiness” for the spring season.  This can truly be the difference in winning that position over your competitor!

Instructor: Vinny Ganz

Vinny will be the main instructor at TOUGH Baseball. Baseball has taken him all around the world. He played in the Goodwill Games in Australia, recently went on a volunteer coaching trip to Argentina to help spread the game of baseball to the area and coached professional baseball all over the United States. After a successful but injury plagued 4-year college career, Vinny went onto coaching. He started his coaching career in college baseball at Post University . From there it lead to becoming the youngest hitting coach in the history of the Frontier League. Vinny was a hitting coach in the Frontier League for three seasons before being named the Manager of the Frontier Greys in 2015. As a hitting coach, 2 out of 3 seasons Vinny's offense lead the league in many offensive catagories. After 3 successful seasons as a hitting coach, he was given a chance to manage the Frontier Greys. As a manager, the Frontier Greys had a year to remember. They set a franchise record in wins, along with having 6 players signed by MLB organizations. Overall in his time in the Frontier league Vinny has had as many as 15 players on his rosters signed by MLB organizations.
